:: heh heh ::i was feeling v down last sunday and v sick as well... anyway to cheer myself up i changed my blogskin (lol, but i'm sure given this degree of pinkness, lulu's gonna make herself sick now)
discovery: i think i'm lactose intolerant, i dunno how when or why cuz i've been taking milk 6 mornings a week for close to 5 years, yet nowadays i get gastro-esophageal reflux almost every morning and recently, i've been getting watery stools 2-3x a day... now reduced to 1x a day if i take milk in the morning. haiz... but i need the CALCIUM! maybe i'll try taking it in the evenings instead. i refuse to accept that i could have become lactose intolerant!
l'auberge espanole: oh cool movie... a bit funny here n there, but i prefered 'el otro lado de la cama'. anyway, there's one joke where the brit girl learnt that le fac (le faculte(dunno how to spell), means the university (in short). so she went around telling pple 'i'm going to 'f*ck' instead. also other funny stuff... mainly due to difference in culture, language and nationality. there was some spanish as well, and super clear, probably cuz those are not native spaniards, so less of the shortforms and slang. muy claro!
today i felt such a great sense of achievement... haha... attended journal club by dr bernie on perianal conditions, then tut by prof low for acute pancreatitis and right after i saw a patient with varicose veins and right venous ulcer, a post-op case of colorectal cancer, a post-op multinodular goitre with complete thyroidectomy, a post-op case of haemorrhoids and made an appointment to see a man with HCC post-op! all this and i left before 1!
