:: faces of the singapore idol-wannabes ::

i'm not a fan of the programme but i came across an article in the 8 days about these 12 finalists and a brief interview with all of them... now, here's just my opinion of their looks. can't say much of their vocal prowess since i hardly tune in to this show.

now for the singapore idol hua1: olinda cho aka energizer bunny gave me the deepest impression during all their debuts. i like her energy, her cheerfulness and also her humor... if she doesn't make a name for herself in the records industry, i'm sure she'd do well in comedy. jessea thyidor... the babe?! unfortunately, i think they chose an inappropriate dress for her... makes her look vampy. by the way, i think she looks better than our miss universe singapore... hehe... maia lee... i like her name... and her looks are pretty interesting... not those pretty-sweet yet oh-so-forgettable kind of face, and i really agree with the 8 days that she bears some resemblance to a*mei. (by the way, why does a*mei have that * between that 'a' and 'mei'?) leandra rasiah - the soul sister... i dunno y they gave her that nick, but i like her looks... heehee... unique. beverly morata - the drama queen... oh manz... for a weirdo she sure is quite honest... pity her boyfriend... he must love her a lot to put up with her super green eyes and all those restrictions to his social life with the opposite gender. never gone downstairs even in broad daylight to get stationery? omg... creepy. psychotic. and i wonder, if she was that 'sheltered' how come she has the guts to go join sg idol now? daphne foo and candice khoo.. hehe they kinda rhyme dun they? if not for that i probably would have forgotten about them. acks.

now for the singapore idol cao3: david yeo - the ex-beng... oh my god... i dunno what to say... he might be a great singer, but i think i have a teeny bit of problem distinguishing his gender. his features are really quite feminine. jerry ong - the outsider... in a different sense, i think yap, yeah. could be... his looks make him appear like a host rather than a pop idol. i hope he sings well... sylvester sim aka the sly beng... ok... he looks quite beng. it's the hairstyle and the face of his shape... his mouth reminds me to DANTONG! they have the same kind of smile? kind of lop-sided? in a really cute way! and i believe dt's hair was a bit like his, just that it was dark red. :D christopher michael lee aka chrissy the pooh. y huh? he's as cuddly as a pooh bear? reminds me of mr yap... maybe when he was young he looked like this. he he he...

ok and for the grand finale... muhammad taufik batista aka the brudder! he's so shuai! wa!!!!! haha... drools... lolz... nah not my type of guy. too shuai for me already. hehehe... ren yao zi you liang li! anyway, he looks good with leandra and wat's that 'our age gap is too wide... we're just friends'... 5 years isn't a lot, unless either one's lying about the real age.

ok. maybe i'll finally remember to turn on the tv one of these days... hopefully in time to catch the last few episodes of sg idol. i got to see with my own eyes whether they look as good (or bad) as they've been portrayed in the magazine. i wonder... are these photos photoshopped like those in xiaxue's blog?
