:: holidays - day 4 aka BOOKS GALORE!!! ::today i finally went to call on my aunt and cousins who've moved to their new place!!! been too bogged down with tests and mugging to do that... now... finally!
the thing i noticed about my cousin's room was that it's super duper small... a bit like 4 mian4 dou1 shi4 qiang2... but in her case it's 4 mian4 dou1 shi4 shu1... given her extensive collection of books! it looks like a mini kinokuniya in there... anyway, i ended up lugging a big bag of books home - 4 issues of scientific american (one of my favourite magz), 'the scarlett letter', 'the portrait of dorian gray', 'the odessy' and 'the fountainhead' (ayn rand). i finished 'the scarlett letter' at her place and while on the way back. hehe... not bad eh...
i hope can finish some of these by this weekend... i've got my eyes (both) on other books like 'the making of a fuhrer', 'the communist manifesto' (karl marx) and 'prince' (machiavelli)... but FIRST, i'd better finish 'bare bones'... i aim to finish it by tonight... shldn't be a problem... but then might have a case of major plate tectonics in my stomach. hahaha...
