:: the manchurian candidate ::hmm i don't believe singapore brought this movie into our box office. and i wonder why not? it's a great movie... in terms of plot. starring denzel washington and liev schreiber as american soldiers in the gulf war who was part of the platoon 'lost' to communication for 3 days... no one really knew what happened in those 3 days... years after their return, where washington had become a high-ranking captain, and schreiber had become a powerful senator in the running for vice presidency, the former starts experiencing strange dreams, and felt that he had been brainwashed... (somewhat) anyway, what follows is this whole conspiracy thingy... (yup, and you'll find out what 'the manchurian candidate' actually stands for). i think i shouldn't have any spoilers here, cos it really would spoil the movie...
just go watch it, it's worth the time, can free ya mind from pharmaco n cofm... the other parts of your brain needs some exercise as well! ;)
