martedì, marzo 15, 2005 :: episode 2 ::decided to go to NUH cuz the pain just wasn't getting any better. i was really puzzled at the NUH entrance coz there wasn't any wheelchair left for me. i think there's some kind of high demand or i dunno what. anyway, i wasn't too offed until... NO ONE PAID ANY ATTENTION TO ME OR MY DAD... those dunnowats, um.. porters? at the taxi stand there are supposed to help find wheelchair or something right? so my dad was like where can i get one? they just said, oh no more already and just proceeded to go off to dunno where... so bz meh? then finally my dad got a wheelchair but it was kinda stuck, cannot open... then i was looking around for those 'porters' (there were around 3 of them walking around), and then they just like faked didn't see me or what? and my dad actually asked one of them and that guy just ignored him?! WT**** i was really pissed and then i hollered at the guy who was ignoring my father and made him come over! mph. turned out it was spoilt, and then this guy at least had the conscience to say that my dad could go to A&E to get another one. *boiling with fury* A&E... hmmm very pleasant place, nicer than SGH coz it's fully air-conditioned... the nurse at the triage was SO NICE! :) made me feel much better... the wait wasn't too long, or maybe it was ok cuz i was devouring 'dracula' very voraciously! such a wonderful book, will blog about it soon. the doc at A&E was very nice too! :) then later on went for xray, even the nurse at xray was very nice! and then this lady came over to ask me to participate in a telephone survey about the A&E services, so i just agreed, anyway, she was nice mah... finally the nurses who bandaged up my ankle were also very nice... and didn't cause any additional pain. verdict: no #, just a really bad sprain (evidenced by the huge swelingSSS), next monday i'll be back to visit our 'friends' at the ortho clinic, mmmm maybe i'll get to see prof das de... or maybe the sports guy. then i think i'll be down for physio. *back to taxi stand* after throwing numerous dirty looks at the porters, i got into my cab and went home... so tiring... zzz... and... worse, tomorrow i still have to go back to NUH for my annual review blood tests.
