:: thursday ::thursday, our grp of 7 (tt's almost the entire ex cg) went for the vatican exhibition thingy... um... journey of life. yeaaa... actually it was rather disappointing :( think they had nicer paintings in the vatican itself. sigh. st. peter's square (Piazza di San Pietro) is a breath-taking wonder itself. but alas, they only had a puny non-imposing plaster replica at the exhibition. (it's circular, not literally square)
one of the best feeling is to twirl and twirl with flowy skirts in the centre of the square... feels so free! :D
everyone was fashionably late... except hypoC, josh and I... it's a miracle hypoC's on time, i suppose cuz it's not a school-related thingy. hehheh... the others had their usual diarrhoea, lost their way and one blur beet went to the wrong museum. i probably arrived a few min past 11, and i surged into the lobby, hoping NOT to find the entire grp already waiting for me. at that point, a grp of 2 foreigners and 3 locals SURGED up to me with this anticipatory look on their faces (i felt like a delectable pastry haha...) -> excuse me, are you the tour guide?
beethead made her arrival really cool... she was dressed just like an avid jap tourist expertly flipping pages of a really good map. boy, i think those around us thought she was a tourist until she started spouting singlish and mixing with a gang of definite singaporeans.
ooh... i have to rave a bit, i lurve yx's skirt :) :) :)
PS: reminds me a lot of the red/orange/brown one we saw later at the heeren... aaaahhhhh i want to buy that one!
erm after that had lunch, where poor EW who had missed the exhibition joined us (don't worry evil one, you didn't really miss a lot!) We went to o'briens... but first, here's a picture... it shows how infantile most of us still are... u see, we're all VERY young at hearts (despite how OLD some of us might look kekeke)
anywayz, later on we all went shopping (tt would be carrothead, beethead and celeryhead). a very unlikely trio. carrot and beet's dress sense and shoe sense clash a lot haha... but then we know wht we all like. celeryhead, being a veggie, was initially determined to find something green to match his nice green CRISP leaves... hmmm in the end, beet and carrot each bought a pair of shoes! wa... i lurve mine. :D can tell beetie had a tough time deciding between her 3 pairs! she got a skirt too! :D very pure and BRIDAL. ;)
