:: 'the tempest' ::

the signs had been there the moment he entered the room... the 'haiz's and 'hehiz', the snorts (was it a snort? nvm...) and the slight flaring of the nostrils... and of course, a face that looked like a storm was gathering... the fact that he was having a bad day was really obvious, it was like a neon signboard above his head. it spelt the beginning of an ordeal for the feather-brained assistant who was trying her best to do what only an octopus could do efficiently.

the student did her best to keep out of the way... it wasn't easy, the room was soooo tiny and there were so many waste receptacles lying around like booby traps. at one point, she almost put her foot in one of them.

however, even though he was experiencing a bad-sort of hairday, he did not, i repeat, DID NOT vent his frustration on the student. in fact, he allowed her to see thru the scopes, do some physical examinations and was rather capable of 'joking' when she asked questions. his anger was only directed towards the nitty-gritty details of clinic-work that seems to literally 'bug' each and every big guy like fleas...

his ability to control that foul temper was impressive... he looks like one with a quick and possibly foul temper which is not easy to control. this makes his attempts to subdue that fire even more worth of respect.

the student also realised that she'd experienced one of the moooooost exemplary 'breaking bad news' situation. but unfortunately, i cannot blog it out here or she would
